Robotic Welding

“I had the opportunity of working with Fine Line Production on a welding project for the U.S. Government that required close tolerances from the welding procedures. The material to be welded was ASTM A29, Alloy 4130. Fine Line was required to preheat and maintain a heat of 450 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit during the welding process. After the welding, the weld had to be cooled slowly to prevent cracking. Several production parts were taken to a metallurgical laboratory for evaluation and were found to be satisfactory in regard to internal defects, fusion, and hardness. I feel that, with correct information and equipment, Fine Line Production could perform any robotic welding presented to them.”

Fine Line Production has multiple ABB Robotic welders with turntable multi-station fixtures suitable for welding two-dimensional and three-dimensional parts through a wide working envelope.

Laser Cutting

Fine Line Production specializes in laser cutting production. With a table size of 48" x 96", materials can be cut up to the following thicknesses: steel up to .500", 304 stainless up to .250" and 5052 aluminum up to .188". Laser cutting produces exact cuts in virtually any shape, at any angle, and through materials that would destroy or be destroyed by contact cutting tools. Features include, flat sheet cutting, sharp edge definition utilizing a 3-axis laser control.

We provide made-to-order products per customer specifications and in house tool design and tool building to ensure repeatabilitys. With our manufacturing strength, technical know-how and "Just-In-Time" response, we can provide quality drawn, stamped, and fabricated components in a variety of metal alloys.

Tool & Die

Fine Line Production will design and build tools to meet our customer’s specifications of products. Dies are designed and built in-house utilizing CAD/CAM software and CNC equipment.
